Praying For The Unsaved

On The Grounds of Redemption

(that redemption has already been secured for the lost by Jesus)

Although we understand that God will not violate the will of the person, our prayers carry with them substantial effectiveness in the spiritual realm. Many people have been saved through the influence of praying Believers. See: "Salvation Through Binding".

1. Pray for the lost to be saved according to the will of God.

I Timothy 2:1-4, I John 5:13-15

2. Pray for God to send laborers into the harvest.

Matthew 9:37-38

3. Pray for a witness of love to be among the brethren and for the lost.

John 13:35, Jude 1:22

4. Pray for God to use us in the harvest.

Isaiah 6:8, Matthew 22:9

5. Pray for a witness of righteousness and fear of the Lord.

I Peter 2:12, 3:1-2, Jude 1:23

6. Pray for Satan to be bound that people might be free to receive the gospel.

7. Pray for there to be a witness of the miracles of God.

8. Pray for the door to be opened for the preaching of the gospel.

9. Pray for there to be power for witnessing unto Christ.

10. Pray for there to be a boldness to share the gospel.

11. Pray for there to be a witness of unity among the Believers.

12. Pray for a witness of wisdom (from God's perspective) among Believers.
